Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked in 3 different teams within the SSC. this was accounts, BSO and BRFS. I worked in these teams to learn the software they use and the processes in which they are involved.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A small amount but I can understand why there was not a lot of responsibility as BDO are a heavily regulated company.

I have learned to understand ad use many different software such as Xero, Caseware and IPS. I have learned to understand the reviewing processes that go on within each department.
