Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
My day started with a 9:30 checked in for all three days. From that time onwards, the day was filled with various speakers from fields such as Advisory, Audit and Tax telling me of there experience working in their respective field. I was encouraged to ask questions and given the opportunity to work in a group and be part of a smaller mentoring session.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was incredibly interesting. Before this opportunity, I had a misconception that the workforce was a very serious environment but I have since learnt that friendships and close dynamics can exist alongside this.

I have become better at articulating myself virtually as opposed to in person where it is easier to not only hear people but read their facial expressions. I have also become more comfortable asking questions.

The general atmosphere was very warming and I could definitely see myself marking it a second home.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I greatly enjoyed this experience and will most likely experience withdrawal symptoms now that I’m not waking up at 9:30 and logging on.
