Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
This programme gave an insight into advisory, tax services and audit services. There were a combination of q&a sessions and group activities which allows you to be immersed into the BDO culture and meet many professionals.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Every speaker from BDO was extremely friendly and welcoming, answering every single question that we had. The answers were all in depth and very helpful. We learn about various roles within each service in BDO and gain an insight into what each day will consist of as well as the challenges and perks of each role.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone was very friendly and helpful, always ensuring we knew exactly what to do and where to be. Staff members were always willing to help when we are having any technical problems. There was a extremely positive environment created and the EIC team were very encouraging which eased any nerves.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight especially with it being a black heritage programme as I met many people from the firm who were from different backgrounds and had their own unique experiences across their career.
