Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Advisory and compliance for UK tax legislation for high net-worth individuals. I was involved in meetings, researching legislation and it's application on individuals, emails, excel work.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Some of the tasks I have done were important for the project, and I feel like I have actually contributed something important, even though small!

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A lot!! I had a Buddy, who was always around to help me with anything, from where I can get coffee to tasks that I needed help with. I also had a People Leader who discussed my progress weekly and helped organising any work that I wanted done

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very relaxed, and yet professional! Everyone is extremely nice, and everyone is so ready to help at the slightest notice

What advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte
Be yourself and show curiosity and enthusiasm! Ask a lot of questions and get to know the people around you. The best advice i can give is to view the interview as a chance to get to know your future co workers and show them your best side.
