I work with a small group on a specific audit. I help out with tasks, attend daily catch up meetings and sometimes go to client site.

What advice would you give to others applying to KPMG
Don't feel deterred by a lack of finance/accounting background. I was worried, studying classics, that I would be unable to understand the work. This was not the case at all. I was able to pick up and learn very quickly and used my analytical skills and attention to detail.
