Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
A range of activities, we listened to senior women from different areas of the business as well as younger women that were part of the grad scheme. We were tasked with coming up with creative solutions to real world problems, by implementing new technology. There was a heavy focus on networking, especially during the networking formal dinner.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
A lot of information was packed into the two days, but we had a booklet with information we could annotate. There was a focus on the second day on what industrial placement roles or summer vacation scheme roles would be available to us following on from the experience.

Everyone I met was lovely and enthusiastic, so it seemed great.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Overall, I enjoyed the experience. It was more an opportunity to meet people and hear from people working there, than to really get stuck into what working there would involve, but it was still a good experience.
