You learn a great deal about the flow of an audit process. From start to finish you get to understand how and why certain procedures are used to evaluate clients statements and consequently build analytical skills to understand where clients may develop certain risks.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
More than enough. Regardless if your queries are centred around your project work or just general questions about the role, the employees at the company are more than willing to sit down and help. I never felt lost as i knew if i was confused I could ask anyone around me for help.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very supportive and encouraging. if you are looking to learn more/ develop professionally there are few environments that could be better. Within reason anything you are curious about or just wish to learn more about can be explored as there is always someone willing to help you.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Very much so. It gave an opportunity to learn more about an industry one doesn't usually get the chance to receive first hand experience. Simultaneously it also gave me the opportunity to build out my network in a way to better position myself for my future
