Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
I was essentially helping out on any work that was given to me using a range of software's like Excel, CCH, OneSource and more. Also, was able to join client calls and get a taste of what it is like to work with some huge clients
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really insightful into the firm and industry as a whole. There's many different ventures you can go down with tax which I didn't realise as there's so many teams with different specialities. If you don't like one thing there's flexibility to try plenty others.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
i've leant plenty of new skills in the short time I have been here which will always be useful in my career, including interpersonal skills as I had to draft emails to clients. These drafts then get amended and you can see the changes made which is really useful to teach you how these communications should go.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone there is so friendly and easy going, never once felt like I couldn't ask for help on something I'm working on. Even if you're sat next to someone you don't know they'll introduce themselves and make you feel welcome.
