Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My roles consisted of looking through excel sheets to create a VBA macro to automate various tasks, there was also a lot of socializing encouraged between interns so even though we are on different tasks, we still socialized. Not much interactions outside the company, as our team did more back-end things and we didn't talk to clients often
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I think since the internship was only 4 weeks long, they couldn't ring us into any projects well enough to give us enough responsibility.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
You get a lot of support from everyone, you get assigned an EY buddy who is most likely a graduate and so they're close to you in age and can relate to your issues. You're also assigned a counsellor who's a manager to speak to you if you have any issues.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
No micromanagement at all, socializing is encouraged, and EY emphasizes the individual aspect. You manage yourself which is great.

The hardest part is the interview process, you are expected to be yourself and give creative solutions instead of the most obvious/easiest answer.
