Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was assigned a team that was involved in implementing a new technology for the client. Everyday I would attend stand up meetings and ask my collegues if they needed any help with anything. I would mostly work on weekly reports, ppts, forecasting, summaries, collating lists, organsing meetings etc

Yes I was given a fair amount of reponsibility including working on my own projects which I presented to the team

I had a counselor and a buddy to support me but on the whole everyone on my team, the other interns and also people in the office were all very kind and helped whenever I had any questions

Do be confident and work as a team. Be friendly and approachable and to be proactive when assigned to a project as work will not be automatically given. Also to reach out to as many people as you can.
