Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day-to-day tasks involved helping on a wide range of clients. Tasks involved proof reading statements, ensuring projects and documents are kept up to date and also interacting with clients.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I got a really good insight from previous SVS and graduates to understand how the process works and the challenges they have overcome to continue progressing. I also go a great insight from managers as to how they have taken the next step in their career and what it takes.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
My communication skills have developed a lot over the last 4 weeks as i found that it was key to everything we do. Team working has also played a massive role. I was having to work in a team everyday and be able to offer value and take responsibility for my work

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I thought there was a great atmosphere in the office with everyone keen to help and offer assistance wherever they can. I found everyone to get on well with each other and have strong working relationships.

The insight was brilliant for me. I know understand a lot more about what it takes to make it at a firm like this and what key skills i will need. It has also helped me see what life may be like for me in a couple of years

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte
Try not to worry as everyone is really friendly and the environment is a lot more relaxed than you may think. Mainly to try and grasp the opportunity as much as you can and be keen to learn.
