Meetings with your team, talking to clients, working on the half year financial reports for the client together with developing excel skills, learning how to use EMS and understanding and expanding your knowledge on finance and accounting.

I believe that learning more about Deloitte and living in first person this experience has considerably strengthen my career aspirations of becoming a certified accountant/auditor working towards the ICAEW/ACA qualification.
I highly enjoyed learning more about my client and the dynamics behind financial movements especially when analysing their income statement and balance sheet.

I have developed active listening skills especially when taking meeting minutes.
I learnt how to collaborate in a team and join efforts to achieve your aim as well as improved my communication skills when connecting with many people from different lines of service.
I also now feel comfortable with excel and working independently and i am not afraid to ask for help when needed.

There was a very good atmosphere in the office, everyone is very friendly and always happy to help you out.
It was so interesting to connect with many different people and learning more about their line of service as well as participating in the socials organised by the office.
Overall, the atmosphere at Deloitte is very warmth, welcoming and inclusive.

I enjoyed being given many different tasks and learning hand on what the job is about.
By the end of the scheme, I was given more and more responsibilities and I felt that the team trusted me in completing certain tasks independently.
