Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Working on IT controls testing and developing workpapers to document that testing. Drawing conclusions on control effectiveness and communication with the team about deviations or deficiencies.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was definitely eye-opening! There are many roles within the firm that previously I wouldn't have even known existed. The development path and outline of all roles were clear from induction.
Learning about the wider business was fascinating as it completes are variety of engagements in an array of areas.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture and atmosphere is outstanding. The people who work here are truly welcoming and Deloitte really looks after it's employees. There are many support systems in place and you never feel like you are silly, all questions are encouraged. It really lives up the mantra of a people first company.

I enjoyed this insight period immensely. The colleagues you work with throughout your short time in the firm are always looking out for you and want to help. People are always willing to answer questions even on more sensitive topics.
