IT Auditor Review

The insight gave very valuable experience and an accurate look into the work I would be doing as a graduate at Deloitte.
On the day-to-day, I joined team calls and was assigned work to do, mainly involving completing working papers in Excel. I also had the opportunities to review recordings of teams calls with clients, giving me insight into their systems.

Deloitte places a large emphasis on networking, so I was able to talk to a large variety of people from multiple service lines. Employees at the company were willing and enthusiastic to make time so that they could explain their specific service lines and roles in detail to me, giving useful insight into the inner workings of the company.

I have developed my technological and analytical skills, as I have had to navigate information across a variety of mediums to be able to complete my work.
I have become more familiar with learning to use bespoke enterprise software, and have also learned how to audit said software.

The company culture exceeded all of my expectations, and made the summer vacation scheme an exceptionally positive experience. Everyone I met was very friendly and willing to take time out of their day to help explain work to the Interns, or other employees in the company. Deloitte does not have an overly competitive environment, and I got the impression that everyone wanted to see me succeed.

As my first summer vacation scheme, this was a great experience and insight into working at an industry leading company. The facilities in the office were very impressive to me, and I appreciated the relaxed environment in the office.
The other interns on my team were very friendly, and we would get lunch every day. It seems that Deloitte chose genuine and sociable people for its internship program.
