Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Arriving in each day for about 8.45 to ensure a smooth start to the day. We really kickstart each day with a stand-up which is at 9.30 ran by the assistant manager on each audit team. Here everyone will communicate the tasks they completed the previous day and their goals for the current day. Thats that for the most part aside from breaking for lunch at 12.30!
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
As audit has a very set career path there was not a particular breadth of roles to learn about. If anything during my time I learnt more about the SACC team which provide documentation for auditors which although provided great insight it was not particularly relevant.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have became an excel wizard! But also using some more audit specific software like WinCHECK and EMS (Engagement Management System). I believe these are getting phased out with a new more modern interface called Omnia however so for anyone taking a similar Vacation Scheme in the future it'll be slightly different!

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Fantastic! The green spaces where incredible. As well as this the hybrid working combined with the open plan office provided for a great atmosphere and a real hub for growth and collaboration.

I have really enjoyed my time here. Using my own incentive to bounce between lots of different teams has been very informative!
