Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Using agile methodologies to collect a company & user requirements based on value then developing a low code app to prove that our technology provides value & can handle their business needs.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given the opportunity to run projects, sessions & lead development throughout the year for big customer projects. I was treated as an equal throughout the year & that grew as my capabilities did.

My presentation skills have improved via running demos & sessions for customers. My technical skills such as SQL have improved as well as soft skills such as time management & confidence.

Due to the internship year taking place online I did not get the full experience of the company culture but from what I experienced I saw good people doing good things.

I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges that cam with the internship, I learnt more than I ever thought I could & did so with amazing people & great opportunities.
