Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I spend a lot of time drafting emails and letter, and creating spreadsheets to help the client engagement for my team.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given responsibility for reviewing tax computations to ensure that the numbers included were correct. I was also asked to do work by the partners in my team.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learned how to use the EY platforms that are used within client engagements and have become more familiar with Microsoft Teams. I also feel that I have developed some existing skills such as presentation skills, with having to do a presentation to our counsellors, and communication which is vital to ensure that I am carrying out my tasks correctly.

I was given a buddy and a counsellor to help me throughout my internship. Them and everyone else in my team were very supportive and showed me how to do different tasks required from me.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It is a very friendly workplace and everyone welcomed the interns. It was a great atmosphere to work in as it felt very inclusive and I was made to feel like part of the team.
