Work on projects that improve sustainable operations on the railway. Participate in track maintenance.
I have produced a feasibility study for a green energy portfolio at a maintenance depot and am providing a business case for solar power supplying trackside assets.

I was given the responsibility to work on the trackside solar project which I have managed and worked on mostly by myself throughout the year.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed my process engineering through the use of network rail's design for reliability standard. Trackside work has given me an appreciation for the maintenance procedure of equipment used on the railway. I have improved my confidence in my technical capabilities and gained non-technical skills to be used throughout my future education and career.
