Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Samples are submitted for various tests and i carry them out. The results then need to be analysed and reported. Alongside this some research work online
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Initially, not as much as i would have liked as management did not want to overwhelm me. However, once i was trained i had plenty of responsibility to lead projects and collaborate with others.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I definitely feel this is the first job where i direct myself mostly. The help is there but I like to be able to manage my own time and workload.
My teamwork skills have been improved greatly as there are many small teams and you have to work with all of them.
Presentation skills are also encouraged at PepsiCo which has been very useful for me.

Weekly calls with my manager meant i had a lot of support as i could bring anything up regularly. Other people in the team were also very supportive with work

Since there are so many job roles i would recommend trying to get your personality and interests across. They also really value friendly, genuine people so try and show them you'd be a great addition to the company.
