Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Daily tasks vary based on what projects I am supporting on. Tasks can include extracting and collating data, creating process flows and supporting the benefits tracking of projects. I interact with a number of Project/Programme managers, Operations Managers, and IT.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
After 9 months of placement I was given the responsibility of Project Manager on a project relating to the implementation of a Vendor Management System to manage agency resource in line with new contractual agreements. I had support and guidance from my team.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Going on placement is an invaluable experience that I would recommend to anyone. Of course it is not going to be enjoyable all of the time however, the attitude you have to the year hugely impacts the level of enjoyment you get. I went in open minded and accepted any opportunities that I could and with that came a good amount of enjoyment.
