Job Description

What you'll bring

This placement is for a penultimate-year student from any degree discipline who is ready to take on real responsibility in a global technology company. You'll contribute from day one and leave with skills and experience that go well beyond the classroom. You're curious, collaborative, and a clear communicator, someone who thinks creatively and tackles complex problems head on.

  • A genuine interest in how businesses and their customers succeed and you take time to understand the bigger picture.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills - you manage multiple priorities and deliver on time.
  • A curious, questioning mindset - you ask questions, seek to understand, and keep developing your knowledge.
  • An open mindset toward AI - you’re willing to experiment, collaborate with AI tools, and take responsibility for the outputs you produce.

What you'll build

You’ll join a business team working on live priorities across SAP UK. From day one, you’ll take ownership of tasks, contribute to real projects, and develop skills that matter in the real world.

  • Take ownership of internal projects from scoping through to delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions and business planning within your team.
  • Work with SAP’s AI-powered tools, including Joule, SAP’s generative AI assistant, to explore how AI is transforming business.
  • Analyse business challenges and contribute practical, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Build relationships across SAP UK, collaborating with colleagues in different business functions.
  • Present your findings and progress to stakeholders clearly and confidently.

Where you belong

SAP UK’s 13-month placement programme gives you a real role in a global technology company, working alongside experienced professionals on work that matters. You’ll be based at our Feltham office, a collaborative space where placement students are a valued part of the team. When you join SAP, you’ll be a part of SAP Next Gen, a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programmes, and peers. This is a launchpad built on real skills and lasting connections.
