Job Description

Connect. Lead. Grow.

Join our Business Management Graduate Programme and step into the exciting world of Service Management—where people and technology come together to create real value. As a Graduate Service Manager, you’ll be working on some of our largest customer accounts, helping to deliver outstanding service and ensuring we meet our contractual commitments with confidence and care.

  • Service Management is all about building trusted relationships, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly.
  • You’ll be the link between our teams and our customers, some of the world’s greatest organisations, making sure everything we deliver adds real value.
  • It’s a role that blends communication, collaboration, and leadership—perfect for those who love working with people.
  • From the moment you join, you’ll start learning how our business operates and how we support our customers through the use of tech, helping them to change the world.
  • As your skills grow, so will your responsibilities—from leading monthly service reviews and managing reporting, to eventually owning full service lines.
  • This is more than a graduate role—it’s a launchpad for a career where you’ll be supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

Exciting benefits for you

  • We recognise that our success is built on the talents of our people.
  • That's why we're committed to ensuring you're fairly rewarded for your efforts, both through competitive salaries and a range of personalised benefits.

Kickstart your career with confidence

  • Join us for a dynamic 6-week induction where you'll get to know the ins and outs of Computacenter – what we do, how we do it, and why it matters.
  • From day one, you'll be supported with structured, role-specific training designed to help you grow.
  • Once you’ve completed the programme, clear pathways for progression mean your journey is just getting started.

Support that sets you up for success

  • You won’t be navigating your journey alone.
  • From day one, you’ll be supported by a dedicated buddy, coach and mentors who’ll help you settle in, understand the role of a Service Manager, and unlock your potential.
  • Whether it’s building confidence, gaining clarity or planning your next steps, we’re here to help you grow — both professionally and personally.

See the bigger picture, up close

  • From day one, you'll have the opportunity to connect with senior leaders across the business, including our CEO and UK Managing Director.
  • You'll also spend time with members of the Service Management leadership team, who will share their experience, provide feedback and support your development throughout the programme.
  • It's a great opportunity to learn more about the business, build your network and gain valuable insight into your future career.

Get accredited, get ahead

  • You'll have the opportunity to achieve ITIL accreditation, a globally recognised framework for IT Service Management.
  • Alongside this, you'll benefit from external training designed to build your knowledge, skills and understanding of Service Management, helping you develop the experience needed to succeed in the role.

Be part of something bigger

  • You’ll join a vibrant community of early professionals across Computacenter in Europe, sharing experiences, ideas and support as you grow.
  • You’ll also attend regular external events with some of our strategic partners — giving you the chance to expand your network, gain fresh perspectives and connect with the wider industry.

Be yourself, be valued

  • We believe people do their best work when they feel seen, heard and valued — that’s why we welcome you as the unique individual you are.
  • At Computacenter, we offer a workplace where you can truly belong.
  • We take a genuine interest in you that goes beyond your skills and experience.
  • Our Employee Impact Groups champion best practice, celebrate diversity and actively promote inclusion across our business and the wider industry.

Ready to join this one-of-a-kind programme? Now’s the chance

We offer two entry pathways onto our Business Management Graduate programme, depending on whether you’re a recent graduate or you’re an individual with 2-3 years’ experience in a Customer facing or related environment (in which case a degree is not a requirement).

Have a degree already or you're in your final year at university?

  • If you’re a recent graduate with a degree in any subject — and any classification — we’d be delighted to hear from you.
  • What matters most is your ambition, curiosity and drive to succeed.

Have some experience, but no degree?

  • No problem!
  • If you’ve got 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a customer-facing role, we’d love to hear from you.
  • We’re looking for people with drive, curiosity and potential - not just qualifications.

The programme

Our Business Management Graduate Programme is built entirely around you. While the structure of the programme may vary slightly from one year to the next, here is an outline of what you can typically expect:

  • You’ll dive into who we are, what we do, and how we help our customers unlock the power of technology to drive change, empower people, and make a real-world impact.

Milestone 2

  • Now it’s time to get closer to the action.
  • You’ll step into the heart of the customer experience.
  • And it’s where you’ll start making a difference.
  • You’ll begin to explore the customer account you’ll be aligned to—understanding the services we deliver and why they’re vital to keeping our customers switched on, successful and supported.
  • It’s your chance to see the real-world impact of technology and begin building trusted relationships that matter.

Milestone 3

  • This is where things get strategic—where you start to see the bigger picture and understand your role within it.
  • You’ll explore how we deliver value for our customers—not just through tech, but through the services and solutions that keep our customers moving forward.
  • As you deepen your understanding of our service portfolio, you’ll start building the commercial awareness and start connecting the dots between what we do and why it matters.

Milestone 4

  • With growing confidence and insight, you’ll learn how to spot opportunities to improve, innovate and influence.
  • You’ll develop the confidence to present your ideas, gain buy-in from key stakeholders, and help shape solutions that make a real impact.
  • It’s your chance to spark progress and show what you’re made of.

Milestone 5

  • Step up and lead with confidence as you take ownership of key customer account activities, applying everything you’ve learnt to deliver results.
  • You’ll continue building your service knowledge while growing personally and professionally—ready to take on bigger challenges.

Upon completion

  • Completing the programme is just the beginning.
  • You’ll be ready to launch a rewarding career as a Service Manager—trusted to lead customer relationships and drive real outcomes.
  • With clear pathways for growth, you’ll take on a broader, more diverse portfolio of accounts, expand your influence, and keep building your expertise.

Selection process

Stage 1- Online Application

30 MINUTES

Just fill out our online application form, upload your CV, and answer a few quick questions to help us get to know you. If everything lines up and you meet the programme criteria, we’ll invite you to the next stages.

Stage 2- Telephone screening call

10-15 MINUTES

You'll be invited to a short 10–15 minute call with one of our recruiters. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your interest in the programme and for you to ask any questions about the role or recruitment process. If successful, you'll progress to the next stage of the selection process.

Stage 3 - Online assessment

35-45 MINUTES

You'll be invited to complete an online assessment designed to help us understand your potential and the key behaviours we look for in our graduates. If successful in the online assessment, you'll be invited to complete a short video interview. You’ll be invited to a virtual interview with one of our Service Managers. While the interview will focus mainly on competencies, we’re also keen to hear about your motivation, any relevant experience, or your drive to succeed in this role. We’ll let you know whether you’re progressing to the next stage as soon as we practically can after your interview.

You’re nearly there! The Assessment Centre is your final step — held at Computacenter’s UK and Group HQ in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The experience kicks off with an overnight stay, including dinner with our senior leadership team — a great chance to connect, ask questions and get inspired.
