Job Description
Be at the front and centre of our business
Join our award-winning Technology Sales Graduate Programme and fast-track your way into the dynamic world of technology sales. You’ll take part in a structured learning and development journey designed to build your confidence, sharpen your skills and grow your network. By the end of the programme, you'll be ready to step into a high-impact sales role - equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support to thrive as one of our trusted sales professionals.
What's in it for you
- A comprehensive 16-month learning experience: You’ll get the ideal blend of theory and hands-on practice through on-the-job experience across key business areas. With structured rotations, mentoring and formal training, you’ll build the skills and confidence to succeed. As you complete the programme, you’ll be ready to step into a long-term career as an Account Manager or Sales Specialist – making a real impact from day one.
- Access to Executive & Senior leadership teams: You'll have regular opportunities to connect with our Executive and Senior Leadership teams – including our CEO and the Managing Director for Western Europe. Alongside this, you'll be supported by a dedicated buddy, coach, and mentor, plus guidance from our Head of Associates and HR Business Partner.
- Work towards industry recognised qualification: As part of our Technology Sales Graduate Programme, you'll work towards an industry-recognised sales qualification tailored to selling within a global technology reseller. Through hands-on learning, you'll develop core sales skills, build your professional network and brand, gain experience in account management and sales best practice, and develop the confidence to succeed in a technology sales career.
- Celebrate success at our two-day Group Kick-Off event: Join your fellow Sales Associates at our annual Group Kick-Off – a high-energy, two-day international sales conference that brings together talent from across the business. It’s your chance to connect, celebrate success, and be inspired by senior sales professionals – many of whom started out as Sales Associates themselves. Expect big ideas, bold conversations, and a brilliant atmosphere.
- Personal development: We’re serious about your growth. With clear progression pathways and a culture that champions learning, you’ll have every opportunity to shape your future. Many of our people have gone on to become influential leaders across the global tech industry – and we’re proud to have been part of their journey.
- Inclusive workplace: Computacenter is a place where you can belong. We believe people do their best work when they can be themselves – and that’s exactly what we encourage. We value you for who you truly are, not just your skills, knowledge, or experience. We take a genuine interest in you as an individual. Our Employee Impact Groups lead the way in championing best practice, celebrating diversity, and promoting inclusion across our industry.
Ready to join this award-winning, one-of-a-kind programme? Now’s the chance
We offer two entry pathways onto our 2027 Technology Sales Graduate Programme depending on whether you’re a recent graduate or you’re an individual with 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or related environment, in which case a degree is not a requirement.
Have a degree already or you're in your final year at university?
- If you’re in your final year at university or a graduate with a degree in any subject – and any classification – we’d be delighted to hear from you. What matters most is your ambition, curiosity, and drive to succeed.
Have some experience, but no degree?
- No problem! If you’ve got 2–3 years’ relevant experience in sales or a related role, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for people with drive, curiosity and potential - not just qualifications.
The programme
Our Technology Sales Graduate programme is built entirely around you. While the structure of the programme may vary slightly from one year to the next, here is an outline of what you can typically expect:
- Months 1 & 2: Welcome to the start of something exciting. This is where your story begins - you’ll kick off your career in technology sales by getting to know who we are, what we do, and how we help our customers unlock the transformational power of technology – for their organisations, their people, and the wider world.
- Months 3 & 4: Now’s the time to dive deeper into what makes Computacenter tick. You’ll build your understanding of our core capabilities and learn how we source, deploy, and manage technology for our customers. You’ll also start developing the mindset and skills of a successful seller – with a focus on consultative sales and building trusted relationships.
- Months 5 - 8: At this stage, you’ll start building a deeper understanding of Computacenter’s core capabilities – including how we source, deploy, and manage technology for our customers. You’ll also explore what makes a successful seller and begin developing your consultative sales skills, helping you build trusted relationships and deliver real value.
- Months 9 - 11: You’ll get hands-on with our sales tools and processes by working alongside experts in Bid Management and Account-Based Marketing. You’ll also connect with our Group Legal and Compliance teams to learn how we manage contracts and mitigate risk – giving you a well-rounded view of how we deliver value to our customers.
- Months 12 - 16: You’ll consolidate your knowledge and put everything into practice, where you will undertake a guided sales role. This will give you real-life practical sales experience with the support of your buddy, mentor and the management team.
- Upon completion: Once you’ve successfully completed the programme, you’ll be ready to launch a long-term career as either an Account Manager or Sales Specialist. With clear pathways for progression, you’ll have the opportunity to grow into one of Computacenter’s future leaders – and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
As well as equipping you with the technical product knowledge you’ll need to get started, the programme also focuses on developing your soft skills – from presenting and storytelling techniques to communicating with impact. You’ll receive regular feedback throughout your journey, helping you grow into a confident and capable sales professional.
This overview gives you a glimpse into the comprehensive training you’ll receive. While the programme is fast-paced and challenging, it’s also incredibly rewarding. And you won’t be doing it alone – you’ll be supported every step of the way. You won’t just learn about Computacenter; you’ll learn a lot about yourself too.
Diversity and Inclusion
At Computacenter, we celebrate difference and it’s important to us that we have a working culture where you can be free to be yourself; in an environment where you feel valued, respected, and supported to reach your full potential and experience a sense of belonging. Because we know when you thrive, we thrive.
As a proud equal opportunities employer, we’re committed to ensuring fair and equal access to opportunities for everyone. Your application is considered on its merits regardless of your age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, parenthood, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other characteristics protected by law. All that matters to us is that you share our vision and values, and you bring the experience and skills we need.
We are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, a government scheme that helps employers attract, recruit, and retain disabled staff. We welcome applications from disabled people and accept applications in alternative formats – and guarantee to interview applicants who have a disability.

Ready to grow, challenge yourself, and shape your future?
The Technology Sales Graduate Programme is designed to stretch your thinking, build your confidence and help you develop the skills that matter most — both professionally and personally.
Known internally as our Sales Associate Programme, it's a well-established and respected early careers programme in technology sales, with many colleagues starting their careers through the programme and progressing into a range of sales roles across the business.
Our selection process is designed to help us get to know you beyond your application. It's also an opportunity for you to learn more about Computacenter, our culture and what a career in technology sales could look like. Throughout the process, you'll meet colleagues from across the business, gain insight into the work we do and have the chance to demonstrate your strengths, potential and motivation.
Once you join, you'll become part of a global community of Sales Associates beginning their careers across the UK, Europe and the US.
Key dates to keep in mind
- Applications open on 23 September 2026 and may close early if we receive sufficient applications.
- The selection process runs from September to December 2026, with assessment centres held in February 2027.
- The programme starts on 6 September 2027.
Selection process
Stage 1- Online Application
30 minutes
Just fill out our online application form, upload your CV, and answer a few quick questions to help us get to know you. Once we’ve received your application, we’ll take a look and see how your skills and interests match up with what we’re looking for. If everything lines up and you meet the programme criteria, we’ll invite you to the next stages.
Stage 2 - Telephone screening call
10-15 minutes
You'll be invited to book a short 10–15 minute call with one of our recruiters. We'll talk about your interest in the programme, and you'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the role, the selection process or what to expect next. Following the call, we'll review your application and, if there's a good match, invite you to progress to the next stage of the process.
Stage 3 - Online assessment
35-45 minutes
You'll be invited to complete an online assessment designed to help us understand your potential and how you approach different situations. You'll have seven days to complete it and it should take around 35-45 minutes. The assessment includes a short case study and a series of questions that allow you to demonstrate your problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
Stage 4 - Video assessment
15-30 minutes
If you meet the benchmark for the online assessment, you'll be invited to complete a short video interview. You'll have 7 days to complete the assessment and answer 1-3 questions, with up to 1 minute for each response.
The assessment can be completed on your phone, tablet or laptop, and you'll have unlimited attempts before submitting. Once submitted, we'll review your responses and let you know whether you've progressed to the next stage.
Stage 5 - Face-to-face interview
60 minutes
Held at our newly refurbished Blackfriars office in London, this is an opportunity to meet one of our senior sales leaders and a programme alumnus who was once in your position. You'll also get a feel for our working environment and see where you could be based.
The interview will focus on your skills, experience, motivation and potential, including any sales or customer-facing experience you've gained and your interest in a career in technology sales. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about us and the Technology Sales Graduate Programme.
Stage 6 - Assessment centre
2 days
The final stage of the selection process takes place at Computacenter's UK and Group Headquarters in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
After an overnight stay and dinner with senior leaders, you'll take part in group exercises, interviews and presentations designed to showcase your strengths and potential. You'll be assessed by experienced members of our sales team and we'll let you know the outcome as soon as possible afterwards.
