Role Summary

The Level 2 Print Operative Apprenticeship is a hands-on, industry-focused programme designed for people looking to start a career in the printing sector.

Apprentices will learn how to support the production of printed products across lots of areas from magazines and packaging to signage.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Producing printed materials using a variety of digital print equipment and software

• Copying, printing, scanning, and binding client documents
• Finishing work, folding, trimming, laminating, and mounting prints
• Keeping the workspace clean, organised, and safe
• Helping ensure every project leaves the building at the high standard our clients expect
• Pitching in wherever needed, teamwork is a big part of what we do.

A Little Bit about your Apprenticeship

Your apprenticeship will be with BPIF Training Limited, and the course is Level 2 Print Operative. The training provider will explain your training plan when you have your induction.

Skills/What We Are Looking For?

• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, Grade C/4 or above.
• Strong Attention to Detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards and minimise errors.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and think of solutions on the spot.
• A positive and creative approach to work, with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and support colleagues to achieve shared tasks.
