Job Description

Make an Impact at RSM UK

Are you ambitious and looking to build a career where cutting-edge analytics meet professional excellence?

Join RSM's Audit Data Analytics Team and help shape the future of how audits are done. You’ll work at the intersection of advanced technology and data-led insight, building tools and solutions that improve quality and deliver real insight for our clients.

From day one, you’ll collaborate with industry experts, develop both technical and commercial skills, and contribute to impactful projects that are shaping the future of audit.

You'll make an impact by

  • Working with audit teams to understand engagement risks, data sources and the audit questions analytics need to answer.
  • Preparing, reconciling and analysing client data to support audit procedures across a range of sectors.
  • Running tailored analytics for specific audit engagements, including non-standard or complex scenarios.
  • Developing repeatable analytical approaches that improve the quality and consistency of audit evidence.
  • Translating analytical results into clear outputs that audit teams can use in their audit work.
  • Building your audit, accounting and data skills as you work towards the ACA qualification.

You’ll mostly be based in the office or at a client site – giving you chance to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients while getting the support you need in the early stages of your career.

What we’re looking for

We're looking for people who are ambitious, curious and ready to get involved. Here's what you'll need:

  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification), 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
  • An existing, permanent, right to live and work in the UK for this role.
  • A genuine interest in technology and data analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others.
  • Close attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • The ability to adapt to change and embrace continuous learning.
  • A background in maths, computer science, economics, finance or a related field would be useful but isn't essential.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, SQL or Python would be useful but isn't essential.

If that sounds like you, we know you’ll enjoy being part of our team.

RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

The start date for this role is on 14 September 2027. Start dates are mandatory – the training you receive from day one is designed to give you the best possible start to your career with us.

What we can offer you

You’ll discover a culture that nurtures individuality and an environment where everyone is supported to reach their potential. With us, you’ll:

  • Benefit from specific technology skills training focussed on our digital and data services such as Agile project delivery, as well as learning how to use our core tools, including Alteryx and Power BI.
  • Study towards the ICAEW ACA qualification, developing the technical knowledge and practical experience required to work towards becoming an ICAEW Chartered Accountant.
  • Have access to Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing including financial wellbeing benefits such as financial tools, electric car scheme and access to a virtual GP.

Diversity and Inclusion at RSM

That's why we're working together to ensure our firm's principles and processes support a firm culture that embraces difference and strengthens inclusion.
