At Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains we offer Level 4 Programmes, studying towards a Level 4 qualifications which will tap into your passion and determination to win, giving you a real opportunity to contribute to our success story. As a team we pride ourselves on challenging and developing our students with exposure to a range of exciting and challenging projects spanning across Motorsport and Advanced Technology on the cutting edge of vehicle electrification. You will work on projects that push the boundaries of your creativity and technical capabilities, and where your passion can help to push the boundaries of science and technology on the Formula 1 racetrack and the road.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical excellence while troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware, networking and security issues for colleagues across the business
• Collaboratively improve systems and procedures to reduce complexity and improve reliability
• Maintain the HPP infrastructure landscape to ensure system availability
• Deliver system changes, improving security and system capabilities to support the delivery of excellent IT services

What do we need from you?

• To be skilled at problem solving, written & verbal communication, with strong attention to detail and task completion.
• To be flexible and open, a team player, and target and deadline driven.
• You will need a willingness to succeed, with dedication to your team and developing new skills.
• You will have the ability to prioritise and be capable to perform under pressure and overcome challenges.
• You will have achieved GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in both Maths and English at a grade 4 or above.
• To have a passion for building and configuring IT systems and delivering solutions using your skills and talent

Knowledge and Experience desired for this apprenticeship:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Operational support within an IT department or equivalent
• Planning, organising, and delivering IT tasks within a team environment
• IT system capacity, performance, and availability monitoring
• IT security, vulnerability, and malware threat prevention
