Job Description

Your role

Curious about how a global bank really works? Join the only function with a truly end-to-end view across UBS. In Group Internal Audit, you'll investigate complex challenges, uncover emerging risks and gain exposure to every corner of the bank. If you love asking questions, connecting dots and solving problems, this is where curiosity becomes impact.

We're looking for critical thinkers that love investigating things to join our 2027 Graduate Talent Program in Group Internal Audit.

You’ll get to:

  • discover how different parts of UBS operate and identify the risks shaping a global financial institution
  • investigate how decisions, products and processes work in practice, uncovering insights others might miss
  • use data, technology and critical thinking to assess risks, evaluate whether controls are effective
  • challenge assumptions to help prevent errors, protect clients and support the firm's strategic goals
  • learn from experienced colleagues and gain a unique view while helping UBS stay resilient, safe and prepared for what's next

Your team

You'll be part of Group Internal Audit, the only function with a complete view across UBS. Reporting independently to the Board, we bring together specialists in business, risk, data analytics and AI to identify emerging risks, generate insight and drive change across the firm.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • would have graduated between 2025 and September 2027
  • has or is on track for at least a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree
  • can explain ideas clearly, whether it’s summarising findings, asking good questions, or sharing your thoughts in a way others understand
  • adapts easily to changing priorities and remains organised when allocated multiple tasks
  • acts with integrity, enjoys working with others, and shows curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn
  • can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency

We welcome applicants studying for a degree in any field, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry and how risks and controls are being managed. Initial practical experience in audit, risk, compliance, or data analysis is an advantage – but curiosity and the ability to think analytically are what matter most. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team.

Your program

Our Graduate Talent Program is 24 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of governance, risk and control management. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You may have the opportunity to complete rotations across different areas. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
