Programme Overview

GE Aerospace offers 12‑month paid placements across various UK locations for students in their placement year or recent graduates.

Placement Areas

Programme Dates & Process

• Typically run from mid‑June through to the following July (site‑dependent)
• Applications open in autumn and remain available through the end of the year, though early application is advised as roles may close sooner
• Candidates may apply for one placement—alternative opportunities may be considered; clear work‑eligibility required (sponsorship considered)
• Follow‑on stages include an online questionnaire, online test, video interview and a final interview with a People Leader

Eligibility Requirements

• Students in the UK on a placement year or recent graduates
• Working towards or having achieved at least a 2:2 in a relevant degree (some roles require a 2:1)
• Must satisfy Baseline Personnel Security Standard; some roles may require higher‑level national security vetting
• Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship may be available, subject to restrictions
