The Solicitor Apprentice Discovery Day is designed for ambitious, curious students who want to explore an alternative route into the legal profession. Hosted at DLA Piper’s Leeds office, this half‑day event offers a close look at what it means to build a legal career through the firm’s six‑year Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship.

Across the afternoon, you’ll hear directly from current solicitor apprentices about their journeys, the support they receive from supervisors and the kind of high‑profile, international work they contribute to from day one.

The event also provides the chance to meet lawyers and the early careers team, explore the Leeds office, and understand the qualities DLA Piper looks for in future apprentices.

To be eligible to apply, you must be able to start the apprenticeship in August 2027, have lived in the UK for at least 3 years and have achieved our academic requirements.
