In the early 1800s, British engineer Richard Trevithick (1771-1833) constructed the first railway steam locomotive that travelled at 8 kilometres per hour. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure critical product and process characteristics are monitored & controlled.
  • Provide framework for proactive problem detection and mitigation.
  • Root cause of analysis using proven problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FTA etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal and external supply chain to ensure flow of information is synchronized to KB requirements.
  • Use of statistical process control & enhancing rules for escalation.
  • Defining & creating Processes & Procedures to ensure quality to our customer.

Competencies

  • Highly organized and with the ability to focus on the tasks at hand.
  • Logical & problem-solving mind-set
  • Basic understanding of Statistics
  • Working Knowledge of Ms-Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
