Job Description

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Product Manager, the apprentice will support the development and implementation of the agreed brand strategy for MFS across all vehicle brands and relevant channels. The role focuses on driving the acquisition of new customers while enhancing engagement with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and deployment of national retail offer campaigns in line with Marketing and MFS strategy.
  • Complete campaign or ad hoc offer pricing using relevant pricing tools for Product Manager review.
  • Review advertised offer quotes and manufacturer costing before submission.
  • Prepare finance examples and terms and conditions for manufacturer advertising.
  • Review financial promotions and assets, making compliant recommendations for amendments.
  • Attend meetings with manufacturers and Product Managers to support campaign deployment.
  • Create product input files across multiple systems including MFS Direct, Finance Calculators, Autotrader, Buy Online platforms, and CARWOW.
  • Produce supporting materials such as price walk grids and programme guides.
  • Test offers across brands and channels in both VDS and live environments.
  • Prepare RV subsidy reports for Product Managers and liaise with Finance.
  • Raise and track product defects via JIRA through to resolution.
  • Conduct MI analysis, benchmarking, and campaign performance reporting with commentary.
  • Support product monitoring, controls, and Consumer Duty adherence.
  • Prepare presentations for Product Managers and Heads of Brand Strategy.
  • Provide absence cover for Product Managers.
  • Manage Brand team reporting and inboxes.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Able to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Flexible team player able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Good analytical understanding.
  • Customer-centric approach with strong stakeholder management.
