About the business division:

Discover the world of financial markets and begin your career in our Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) division. We bring together top-tier sales, trading, structuring and research teams across Credit, Emerging Markets, Foreign Exchange and Rates. We empower clients to achieve their financial goals by offering tailored solutions to manage risk, secure funding, and access liquidity.

Division specifics about the apprenticeship role:

We offer a structured program combining practical experience with comprehensive academic and professional development. You'll work towards a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Finance and professional qualifications (CISI/IMC, CFA), supported by dedicated study time, on-the-job coaching, and a personal mentor. The program culminates in a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist award (Year 2) and a Level 6 Financial Services award (Year 4).

During the rotational program you’ll work across Fixed Income products to see firsthand how we respond to market trends, deliver for our clients and make a difference in the world. Gain hands-on experience in Sales, Trading, Financing, Structuring, or Research. Work alongside industry experts to solve real-world client challenges and drive market innovation. Whether you’re in the hustle and bustle of the trading floor, delving into company financials, or writing research analysis, the possibilities are endless.

Please note that to apply for our 2026 Apprenticeship Programme you must graduate from sixth form (school, academy, or college) in 2026 or have graduated in the last 12 months (i.e., in 2025).Offers will be conditional on acceptance to the Applied Finance degree programme at Queen Mary University. Successful candidates must achieve a minimum of AAA at A-Level (or equivalent) including A in Maths, as set out in the relevant course page Applied Finance - Queen Mary University of London (qmul.ac.uk).
