About the role:

As a Data Administrator Apprentice at the Legal Remedy Centre, you will support our legal administration team by carrying out essential data entry and administrative duties. You will learn how to manage, maintain, and update key data systems used throughout the organisation, while also gaining exposure to data analysis, reporting, and general office administration within a legal setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Help solicitors manage their caseloads.
  • Answer the office phone.
  • Accurately input, update, and manage data within our internal legal and administrative systems.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Act as a first point of contact for internal queries, providing professional and timely support.
  • Assist the team in creating reports, presentations, dashboards, and contribute to data analysis and trend monitoring.
  • Support ongoing data quality checks, identify errors or inconsistencies, and help implement corrective measures.
  • Take a proactive approach to all tasks, identifying potential issues and offering effective solutions.
  • Complete apprenticeship training on time and apply new skills to live workplace tasks.
  • Undertake additional administrative duties as required to support business operations and your professional development.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong organisational skills, including effective time management and task prioritisation.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all data-related tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an interest in data processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and comfortable using data entry systems.
  • Ability to balance study commitments alongside workplace responsibilities.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
  • If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
