Despite being market leaders, our department is relatively small and hands on. This gives you the chance to gain exposure to all aspects of the business and have a real opportunity to make a meaningful impact during your placement year at Panasonic. No two days are the same!

Responsibilities & Duties

• Daily website maintenance – including scheduling training sessions, assigning leads to installers, approving user accounts
• Creating and scheduling 2 social media posts a week
• Organising events and exhibitions
• Manage seasonal promotions and campaigns
• Liaising with design agencies and external partners for events, media and promotions
• Working directly with the Marketing Manager on a day-to-day basis
• Proof-reading press releases, case studies and various written materials for UK and Europe
• First point of contact for Panasonic accredited partners
• Ordering, distributing, and managing promotional materials
• Budget management (cost allocation, invoice management)
• Customer service management
• Filming and editing short clips for YouTube
• Work alongside the technical department to organise the student recruitment process for 2027

Qualification & Experience

• Currently studying for a Marketing / Business / Sales related degree at University
• Currently in your penultimate year of study
• No specific experience or knowledge required.
• We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude. Someone who is pro-active and always bringing new ideas to the team to help boost sales.

Personal Attributes

• We are looking for someone who can take initiative, be bold; we work in a constantly changing industry, so new ideas are always well received.
• Close attention to detail to ensure that while the ideas are great creatively, they also come across in execution.
• “Team” is the buzzword we operate with. There are a lot of responsibilities in a small team, and you should be able to work well with different people and deliver results.
• Every day is different - we are a growing team so you will need to adapt quickly to this everchanging job role.
• You will be working with a lot of different people at different levels, both internally and externally with our agencies and partners. You’ll need strong oral and written communications skills to help you push ideas through.
• Good at prioritising and managing your time.
