Commercial & Business Banking Apprenticeship

Duration – 3 years

Salary – £26,500 + fantastic benefits

Where you’ll be – London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol, Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man. You’ll need to be flexible. Mix office and home working with our hybrid working policy.

Qualification – Level 6 Financial Services Professional with Kaplan and Chartered Banker Institute (CBI) Diploma & Professional Banking Certificate

As a Commercial & Business Banking Apprentice, you’ll build client relationships, learn how banking really works, and earn industry-recognised qualifications - all while getting paid.

This apprenticeship gives you the chance to study with Kaplan and CBI while gaining experience across different banking roles.

You’ll cover topics like:

• Professionalism & ethics
• Commercial lending
• Green & sustainable finance
• Legal & regulatory frameworks

And you’ll do work that really matters, from managing client portfolios to analysing performance and supporting financial queries.

The work you could be doing

• Managing portfolios of banking clients
• Working as a Securities Settlements Analyst
• Supporting strategy, planning and system migrations
• Exploring product areas like sustainable finance and commercial cards
