What do you most enjoy about your role?
Seeing the progression of the research project throughout the year, especially now I understand a lot more of the background through writing my university report. The lab work has been varied, with new techniques that I wouldn’t have used at university.
Describe your biggest achievement?
My biggest achievement so far has been my Tech Talk, this is a technical presentation about my research project, which I presented to 40 colleagues. Presenting doesn’t come naturally to me, so this felt like a massive achievement.
How has this experience exceeded your expectations?
The work-life balance and family-like atmosphere that Lubrizol promotes has exceeded my expectations. This made me feel like a valued member of the department whose work definitely contributed to the company, exceeding my expectations as a student.
