What was the interview process like?
The interview process consisted of an online application, online tests and a telephone interview. If successful you were invited to an assessment centre. The assessment centre was a positive experience and we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. An important tip is preparation, know Intel’s business before attempting any stage.
How much responsibility were you given?
Once the initial training was complete we were awarded considerable responsibility early on. Every part of an Intern’ s job role is equal to that of a full-time employee. Open and relaxed communication always ensures the required support is available, eliminating any stressful scenarios.
What did you most enjoy about your role?
I love how diverse my role is. I have experienced many different attributes in finance and business partnership. Having the opportunity to diversify into considerably different projects throughout the year has been very exciting.
What was the atmosphere like in your team?
The large size and multi-national structure of Intel allows for great teams to be formed. Our team’s atmosphere is fantastic with 6 different nationalities in a 10 person team, allowing for great diversity and collaboration in not only a working, but social environment.
How promising are the graduate prospects?
Intel’s graduate recruitment is done out of its internship program, serving as a year-long interview.
