About the role

Our placements last for 12 months where you will gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills working in our Plant fleet department. What you’ll do

  • Form part of the plant hire service desk, being reactive to the needs and requirements of our live sites across the UK.
  • Liaise with Site Managers and hire companies to move plant, vehicles and machinery to and from site.
  • Learn key negotiation skills and then implement them, engaging with various stakeholders to help us drive value.

What you’ll need

  • You must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or a closely related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisation skills
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

What’s in it for you

  • Gain practical experience in your chosen role
  • Work on projects that have a positive impact on the community
  • Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals
  • 26 days annual leave (pro rata for the duration of your placement)
  • Access to our Early Career Professionals network

Plus, if you have a successful placement year you could be offered a permanent role for when you finish your studies, as well as the potential for funding support towards your final academic year.

Here, you’ll build a career with purpose—on projects that make a real difference. And you’ll be part of a team that invests in your future.
