Production & Media Operations Placement (12 Months) – London
Location: Hammersmith, London (Hybrid: 4 days office / 1 day home)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Duration: 12 Months (Starts June 2026)
Deadline: 8th December 2025
The Role at a Glance
Ready to make magic? We are looking for undergraduate talent to join our Media Operations and Production teams. This is a premier media internship in London where you won't just fetch coffee—you will support the planning, development, and creation of content for global platforms like Disney+ and National Geographic.
From TV production and script reading to asset management and streaming operations, you will gain hands-on experience in how a global media giant operates.
Where You Could Work
We have multiple roles available under this single application. You will be considered for one of the following areas based on your skills and interests:
📺 Disney+ & Streaming
- Creative Operations: Support regional campaign planning across creative & marketing functions.
- Content Operations: Oversee asset tracking for all EMEA releases and assist with tool development.
- Content Strategy: Evaluate content for Disney+ against competitors, update internal trackers, and present content highlights.
🌍 National Geographic
- Unscripted Live Action: Support the production of original documentaries, manage meetings, and track milestones.
- Programming: Assist in creating monthly schedules, analyse ratings data, and contribute to strategy.
- Global Acquisitions: Work with producers to find the best programs for our global networks and learn the art of deal negotiation.
- Media Planning: Focus on promotions and campaign planning for live TV channels.
- Promotions & Assets: Oversee promotional materials (voiceovers, graphics) and use Photoshop to design images for on-demand platforms.
🎬 Animation & Live Action
- Animation: Work with executives from pitch to post-production. You will read scripts, review animatics, and support original animated series commissioning.
- Live Action: Support the team creating original TV shows. This role blends administrative and creative tasks, including reading submissions and supporting shows in development.
⚙️ Post-Production Operations
- Quality Control: Monitor QC for programs to ensure broadcast quality.
- Delivery: Support the delivery of shows to our linear channels and Disney+ streaming service.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Must be a current undergraduate student in your second year, returning to study in Autumn 2027.
- Right to Work: You must already have the right to work in the UK.
- Availability: Ready to start full-time in June 2026.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please apply to ONLY ONE internship across The Walt Disney Company. Applying to multiple roles will not increase your chances and may delay your application. We will consider you for other suitable roles automatically.
About You:
- Strong curiosity about the media industry and production logistics.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Professional maturity to connect with people at all levels.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Why Disney? (The Perks)

- Salary: £28,000 annual salary.
- Time Off: 25 days' holiday + bank holidays.
- Discounts: Exclusive discounts on Disney products, parks, and tickets.
- Community: Join a massive network of interns and Employee Resource Groups (Women @ Disney, PRIDE, ENABLED, etc.).
